No Child Born to Die #passiton

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmail
This meme started at Red Ted Art and I joined it via It Takes a Woman. It supports Save the Children’s No Child Born to Die Campaign.
Every year, more than 8 million children die from completely preventable diseases before their fifth birthday. World leaders have promised to dramatically cut these deaths by pledging money to fill the $3.7 billion funding gap that would provide vaccines for 250 million of the world’s poorest children. Please sign up to support this campaign to ensure that these promises are kept.
If you want to know more about the campaign, follow the mummy bloggers who are visiting Mozambique to see the vaccination programme firsthand. Find them on twitter or look for the #passiton tag:

These are the small one and the curly one’s self portrait attempts. I can confirm that they are both good likenesses.

I’d ask the large, lumpy one, but he’s revising for his A-levels and is already a master of procrastination…

This is the challenge:

1) Get your child to either draw or craft a self portrait of themselves now or in the future. Check out Red Ted’s self portrait tips Even a simple circle with dots and lines is sufficient!!!
3) Sign up to support the Save the Children campaign and then pass it onto your friends
4) Write a blog post about it as soon as possible, including info about Save the Children and the petition.
5) Visit Red Ted Art to link up your post.

Following the example set at It Takes a Woman I am not tagging anyone specific and asking as many people as possible to join in.

Pass it On!
