Win Tesco Style for Breastfeeding Mums!

For National Breastfeeding Week 2012, I’ve been asking retailers to support the UK’s breastfeeding mums by searching their collections for fabulous breastfeeding friendly outfits.

Clothing at Tesco are kindly giving away 3 x £50 vouchers so 3 lucky mums can revamp their wardrobes. To win, visit the Clothing at Tesco website and then tell me in the comments below what you would like to buy from their range. For a second entry, either follow me on Twitter or like MilkChic on Facebook!

For a wedding:

“This show-stopping prom dress is sleeveless in design with a low v-neck, voluminous skirt and belted at the waist, it is a must-have for any formal event.”

This dress is cotton with just a little stretch, and it’s one I’d missed before now but it should stretch for feeding. The straps are wide enough for a bra, and the shape is flattering and feminine. Add a cardigan buttoned cape style, or wear with a nursing vest for confident and stylish public breastfeeding.

F&F online exclusive prom dress, £30
F&F Cotton stretch cardigan, £10
F&F Patent strap Sandals, £15

For summer BBQs:

“You cannot beat a maxi dress for its floor skimming beauty. Finished in a floral print, this lightweight maxi dress is perfect for your next island getaway or garden party. Wear with the highest of heels or strappy sandals.”

The elasticated bandeau top gives great nursing access – combine with a strapless nursing bra for a throw on but glam look.

F&F Floral print maxi dress, £20
F&F Long Shell Rope Necklace, £8
F&F Corsage Strappy Sandals, £10

For a night out with the girls:

“Mixing a feminine cut with a fun print we absolutely love this dress from Influence. Finished in an all over swallow print the dress is detailed by a wrap over v-neck, cinched faux leather belt at the waist, long sleeves with button cuffs and a flowing a-line skirt thats screaming to be paired with heels. Fab for styling up your office look or making at entrance at a party.”

The wrap over neckline is perfect for breastfeeding. Layer over a nursing vest for easy access. I just couldn’t resist these fab turquoise heels…

Influence Swallow print belted dress, £25
Emma Jane Maternity Longline nursing top, £20
F&F Peep Toe Court Shoe, £10

P.S. Not strictly a fashion accessory, but if you’re going out with a baby late at night, the Gunamuna Gunapod is pretty desirable – you can unzip from the bottom to remove nappies or completely remove the front section to stop baby from waking up.
